We chose Salmon to represent The World card. Salmon are incredible creatures that return to the exact spot they were born. Just like The World card, they are a powerful symbol of beginnings and endings. Salmon World teaches us about tenacity and dedication to reach our goals.
Symbolism
Wreath symbolizes victory!
Wands: In the Rider Waite Smith, the dancing woman holds the same wands we see in The Magician indicating that all along our journey, we have the magic needed to co-create with the Universe.
Circles represent the wholeness, infinite and perfect totality of existence.
Astrology
The World is ruled by the planet Saturn. As the furthest and least unchanging traditional planet, the ancients believed it was nearest to the Gods and thus more perfect and divine. Saturn also represents the challenges we faced and responsibilities we’ve taken on that have made us wiser.
