1st Decan of Libra
Happy Libra season to all the Libra Suns out there! The Sun entered Libra on the 22nd.
Libra is a cardinal sign and like the other cardinal signs—Aries, Cancer and Capricorn—it begins a new season. Cardinal signs are good at initiating, responding and getting things going.
In tarot, the cardinal signs correspond to numbers 2, 3 and 4. And as an air sign, we use the Swords for Libra.
Put it together and the first decan (ten days) of Libra corresponds to the Two of Swords.

In Faunabelle Tarot, the minors have bite-sized meanings, about double the length you would find in a fortune cookie. When we were testing the meanings with kids, we found some attention spans were bite size as well. So we decided to make different sized meanings: large for the majors and small for the minors.
Here are the meanings for the Two of Swords:
- Upright—Not all decisions need to be made right away. I can take my time with this one.
- Reversed—When I open my mind to seeing another side, an answer rises inside of me.
